Rachel Laura Campbell passed away on Thursday, April 26, 2012 in Caldwell at home surrounded by her family at the age 90. She was born on November 3, 1921 in Roswell, Idaho to Arch and Beryl E. Wisbey. She grew up on her father’s farm and attended Upper Roswell School for several years and then transferred to Roswell School from which she graduated in 1941.After graduation she moved to Spokane, Washington. She worked for several years during WWII at the Spokane Air Service Command doing aircraft supply work. In 1946 she returned to Roswell. She married Thomas “Dub” Campbell Jr. in Caldwell in August 1946. They lived in Ontario, Oregon until 1948 when the moved to Caldwell where she lived until her death. She was a member of the Roswell Baptist Church and the Caldwell First Baptist Church. She is survived by one daughter Judy (David) Evans of Emmett, ID and one son Donald (Barbara) Campbell of Hayden, ID and two grandsons, Kevin and James.She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas and her brother Merle Wisbey. Rachel’s graveside service will be at the Roswell Cemetery, Roswell, ID on Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at 2:00 PM under the care of Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell. I am so sorry for the loss of your wonderful Mother & Grandmother, Rachel. She was such a sweetheart who brightened my day when I would visit her from across the street and we could meet at the mailbox. Go's peace to you at this time.

Don, we were so sorry to hear about the passing of your mom. We know how much you loved her and how deeply she will be missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and Barb and the rest of your family. We will get togeather soon but till then know that we send our love.
