Howard Lionel TaulbeeAugust 30, 1926 ~ November 1, 2017 (age 91)
Howard Lionel Taulbee, born at East Farms, Washington, was the second of five children born to Cloy and Mabel Puckett Taulbee. Reared around Vale, Ontario, and Fruitland, he found his true love one evening in Greenleaf and pursued her until she finally said, “Yes.” He and Wilma Lee Breach were married Nov. 12, 1948, and remained united until her death Feb. 5, 2012. They were active members of the church of Christ, and four children completed their family.
A hard worker, Howard found employment in various places during his 91 years including Idaho Meat Packers, Black Canyon Irrigation, and Simplot. He was always ready to help friends and family when they needed it, remodeling, farming, moving, or whatever, never expecting to be repaid. He set a good example of what it means to be a true friend.
Howard resided the majority of his adult life in Middleton and leaves behind many dear friends there, especially his coffee buddies and the staff at both the Quick Stop and Jim's Drive In.
In addition to his parents and Wilma, Howard was preceded in death by brothers Paul and Lavere and sister Mavis. He also lost all three sons.
He is survived by his sister Bee Taulbee of Portland, his daughter Gae Frost of Nampa, five grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.
A memorial service will be held at the church of Christ, 10th and Ustick in Caldwell, on Sunday, Dec. 3, 2017, at 2 p.m.
