Dora Elva Martinez Campos, 79, of Caldwell was born on October 15, 1937 and went to be with our Lord and family on April 6, 2017 of natural causes. “Grandma” was born at Anahuac, Nuevo Leon to Sixto and Dolores Martinez. She married her childhood love and companion Ezequiel Campos in 1960. They were married for 57 years and had six children Sarah, Francisco (Corina), Elias, Diana, Elizabeth, and Christina. She was Grandma to twelve grandchildren: Francisco Jr. Campos (Claudia), Ezequiel Campos, Cassandra Perez (Agustin), Gabriel Perez Jr. (Ayla), Christopher Campos (Priscilla), Angelica Campos, Marlo Campos (Leticia), Vanessa Campos, Lucas Perez (Annette), Noey Campos, Quincy Anaya, Nadia Prevo and 39 great- grandchildren. She is survived by her sister Lupe Martinez Torres and her two nieces: Sandra and Dora and her loved extended family who lives in Mexico.
Dora and Ezequiel married in Mexico then moved McAllen, Texas. They lived in Brawley, California, then Wilder, Idaho and finally made their home in Caldwell, Idaho.
Dora was a beloved, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She played an active role in raising her grandchildren. She loved to feed them and making them their favorite meals. She enjoyed tending to her roses, visits from her great-grandchildren, long family gatherings, taking trips to play on the slot machines, visiting her family in Mexico and sharing her life stories.
She will be greatly missed by her family and loved ones.
She was preceded in death by her beloved children Sarah and Christina. Her brother-in-law Arturo Torres, her son in-law Pricilano (Presley) Anaya.
There will be a viewing at Flahiff Funeral Chapel in Caldwell on Saturday, April 8, 2017, Idaho from 10 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and a Memorial Service at the Faith Tabernacle Church 3818 E. Newby St. Nampa, ID at 3:30 p.m. condolences may be given at www.flahifffuneralchapel.com
